PTO Snapshot
Who is eligible?
Regular full-time and regular part-time team members beginning the first day the month after date of hire (or on date of hire if that is the first day of a month)
How it works
-
- PTO is time to use for illness, vacation and personal days off.
- Each year, your total allotment of PTO is based on your service anniversary in that year; see chart below for full-time team members.
- PTO allotment is prorated for part-time team members. For example, if you are scheduled to work 50% of full-time, you will earn six hour of PTO rather than 12.
- You earn 1/12 of your annual PTO allotment for every full month worked.
- In general, you may carry over up to 40 hours of unused PTO to the following year; some states have different rules. Take a look at the Sick Leave/PTO Carryover Rules for your state.
